I have a 350 small block 1990 I-Roc Z and whenever I start the car I have to give it gas until the engine heats up. It is fuel injected and it is stored in a garage. After the engine heats up it runs just fine. Any ideas?

 

Could be a problem with the coolant temperature sensor. Based on the reading from the sensor, the ECM raises the idle speed and richens the A/F ratio for cold start.
