yes EGR was removed from my chip..........the car has been fine other than needing to dyno tune the car. All this recently started...

 

Some sensors like o2 or MAF sensors won't throw a code until it actually fails or shorts (out of range). Hell, my truck threw a code saying o2 sensor was bad, I cleaned the MAF sensor and the code never came back. I had to clean the MAF sensor when I first bought my mustang too, no codes when it was plugged in or unplugged. It ran like there was a vacuum leak though -- they can get dirty pretty easy.

 

heres the 1,3 and 7 plugs. I suspected the #7 and as you can see it doesnt look like the others.

when i unclip the #7 injector the engine doesnt surge but doesnt sound right either like its running on 7cyl....but when i unplug the #7 plug wire its really sounds like crap.

these plugs are not old at all.....maybe 1000 miles at the most.

so whats up?

 

Does the vehicle start to idle rough only when it is heated up?
Many users on this message board talk about bad fuel injector being the cause of this problem?Does the car wants to die around 450rpm at idle, but seems to be fine while driving? Also does the car blow blue smoke in the morning when the engine is cold started?

 

Did you ever get this figured out?

I've got a bone stock 91 RS, TBI 305, that's doing pretty much the same thing, so I'm on here looking for clues.

 

nope sure haven't ...the car is sitting in my garage........I wanna sell it now....got it on craigs and not one hit yet.

 

some body told me its the plug wires and the coil. ...my coil actually has a very bad buzzing sound to it ....and its never had that before.....so i dont know
