I hear Camaros rattle themselves loose...
Me again with another somewhat stupid question, but I hear a lot of people telling me to keep an eye on nuts and bolts on my car (84 z28 305 HO) for parts rattling themselves loose. I can see what they mean seeing that the suspension isnt designed to handle the **** hole roads we got here in Pittsburgh. I was just hoping some of you could tell me what to look for on my car that is known for coming loose or out of wack after driving on pothole and patched roads that i gotta deal with. Once again, I'm new to sports cars after having been driving a jeep around that can handle bumps in the road no problem. Thanks again.
depends how bad the condition of your car is. considering it's a unibody style if your suspension is in proper order and your not running some rediculous thin sidewall tire you should be fine....think you have bad roads visit detroit sometime.
I found a loose bolt on my starter, and I discovered that horrible creaking noise was a loose bolt on my swaybar. Although the swaybar is probably my fault as I recently put in a wonderbar before that incedent.
You will find more of a problem getting rusted seized bolts out when you need to change somthing then them comming out on there own.
