I've been working for about 3 days trying to remove the factory powdercoating so I can polish the wheels, and it's kicking my a$$!!! I've tried everything from chemical strippers to making my own abrasive wheels out of scotch brite pads. all I've accomplished is having one wheel 2/3 done, and sore hands, as well as wearing out about 15 pads. any Ideas?

 

i used stripper and it worked for me you might want to try using a steel brush on a electric drill. saves time and can use it on the inside wheel wells
