I'd dyno it now to see where you'll be starting at.

There was a magazine article a while back that put all the goodies on a stroker 305 (335) and made a little over 300.. the kits are available from powerhouse.com..

My car dynoed 232rwhp in 2nd gear (less horsepower/torque than 3rd since it's not a 1:1 ratio). I had to dyno in 2nd because in 3rd gear at 130mph, my tires were rippling and thats not safe. I need a higher speed rating tire to really open it up.

The 347rwtq was in 3rd gear with the cutout closed...and I missed my peak torque. If I had better rated tires and could run my car in 3rd gear to about 5000rpm, it should have around 250rwhp as it sits.

Keep in mind I have stock intake, heads, tranny, PROM, and fuel regulator. I think if I put an Accell Superram on it, AFPR, and a custom chip...I'd be pretty damn close to 300rwhp. If not, then I could always port my heads.
