How much is a 3rd gen Formula going for?

4th Gens have gotten real cheap and its been a while, I remember when a 92 GTA was still well over 10K, a 91-92 Z28 or Formula was about 8-9K. Its been a while, about 3 or 4 years. I really am fiending to pick up a Third Gen Formula, around 88 (No Vats) in maui blue, L98 car. Care less about miles, just a slong as the body is straight. Life is a bitch, two summer ago my buddy sold his 89 Formula, the car that got me in Firebirds, he said 2K takes it. But I had no money, if it had been last summer I would have had money to buy it.

$2k was a steal and I doubt highly youll find a straight L98 car with any kind of reasonable miles under $5k give or take...

A friend of mine just sold his for $5500.00. It was very very nice and had that much in mods. They are not selling well right now. Prices will go up as the weather warms. I would sell my IROC for the right amount of money. It would not be cheap tho. I have been thinking about selling one of my cars and putting the money in the other. Building a 9 or 10 second street/strip car would be nice. In a couple of years the price on Camaro's and Firebird's will go thru the roof now they stopped building them.

It had straight body and perfect interior but thats really it, the car ran, but had been driven hard and raced hard.

I bought a straight as an ace camaro for 8500. it only had 22,000 on it when I bought it, which made it more expensive look to spend about 6-7 for it, they are getting harder to find(nice ones)

Thats cool, but I dont want spend money on a pristine car that I'm going to tear apart. All I care about is the body and interior.

There is a guy name Cory on the Motownmuscle.com board that is selling a Black 89 Formula. It looks really nice. Just thought I would let you know.

you might be able to find a pretty good one for about 5k or less, i got a deal on my 91 formula 350. the car had torq thrust 2's, slightly modded, original paint that was in good condition (especially for how old it is) and 97k miles. the car runs like a charm and is very powerful down low, and it only cost me 4k, i thought it was an excellent deal since it couldve easily sold for about 5500 or more. so there is a good chance to find a good l98 formula for cheap out there, you just got to look.
