How Low Can It Go? (Weight)
My wife grumbled alot about our buying a 1994 Camaro Z28 -- until she drove it twice! Now she wants to get a second one so we don't have to fight over who gets to drive it!
I'm in no hurry, but thinking of getting a 3rd Gen. How light can you make one of these and be street legal? I was thinking of a fiberglass front end, racing seats, plastic hatch, etc.
Thanks for any info!

Still keeping it "street legal" you should be able to get it down to at least 3200 pounds.
The fiberglass front end isn't really street legal and it's not really a direct bolt-on part. A tubular front crossmember from www.paracing.net can cut a lot of weight off the front of the car.
My car currently with me in it is 3175. That's also with a big block, 6 point roll bar, TH400 tranny and ford 9" diff. The car however is no where near street legal.
