What?!?!? Wait, so how do you get it in a PERFECT cirlce? I understand honing is making sure the cylinder is perfectly round but...wow. No offense but is that a ghetto bore job or like how a machine shop would do it?
you guys are funny I almost pissed myself
I`ll tell the poor guy how they do it
you have to bring it to a machine shop and they have this machine that is a big round thing that have blades sticking out from the sides and there ajusted for how much of a over bore you want thats the best i can explain it

To bore a block you need a a boring machine, you cannot use sand paper and a drill. You can hone with a drill and a honing bit, but if you take it to a machine shop (and they do it right) when they hone and bore the block they will even torque the main caps down to proper spec because it can distort the cylindar walls that much. Block boring is usually not done as a performance mod, it is done if the cylindar walls are too damaged that honing cant fix (taper, out of round, grooves, etc). When you bore a block it is a rough cut and must be honed after to clean up the cylindar walls and get the right crosshatch angles.
