My Engine Coolant Hose Blew. Now im stuck at my house with whatever parts i got laying around. I have a short piece of hose, and a smaller metal pipe. Can i use the metal pipe to connect the 2 hoses i have. It fits rather snug, but not sure if its safe. Thanks Guys.

 

As a short term repair alright again short term. I would use hose clamps on each side of your temp repair with the metal pipe.

 

If it's a snug fit then all the better....clamp it in and drive directly to the nearest parts store to get the right hose.
