They are stuck on with double sided foam tape. The best way to remove them involves 2 steps. First, use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the strip to aid in removal. The bulk of the tape will come off, but leave some residue behind. Second, you can remove the remaining parts/residue with either a mild acetone solution and rubbing with a cloth, or 3M makes an eraser disc specifically for this that fits into a drill and gently erases the residue - its completely safe for the paint.

The only problem is paint fading. You might still see a line where the strip was, and buffing and waxing may not completely eliminate it. You will get more door dings, but the MUCH cleaner look is very worth it.

I agree with what everyone else says, remove all the add ons. That wing isn't pretty, and it still has the factory spoiler.

You can use a eraser wheel to get the remaining double sided tape off of the body when the trim is removed. You can purchase eraser whells at any auto body store and make sure to use them in a power tool that does not turn alot of rpm's.

Dude, thats a really nice IROC, I agree with everyone else here, lose that spoiler, doesn't look right at all, ditch the window louvers, and the blackouts on the tail lights. The bra too. That is too nice of an IROC that you don't see everyday to be covered up with trailer park trash. But if you like it, to each his own.

If you absolutely MUST have a tall wing, find one from a 1990-1991 Z28 and update.

Rear window louvers look okay, but everyone's right about losing the current wing and front bra. They dont add much coolness to what looks to be a cool car. I like white Z's.

Those louvers are not after market those are RPO DE1, you can tell by the rap-a-round style. I'd keep'em, but I'm biased. I would loose the partial bra, and the wing.

I will award kudos for finding a wing that looks, well, different...I don't like it, personally, but at least it's a quality install.

keep the louvers. Hold onto the bra for daily driving and so forth, but if you're going to show off your ride, take the bra off.

Looks good otherwise.

Sir. There is no question about it, that wing is visually repulsive. Im bleeding from the eyes here. As for the louvers, people seem to like them, but to me, they are as bad if not worse than the wing. As for the bra... Im sure you get it. It looks like a nice car other than all of the add-ons.

Everybody has their own opinion, and others opinions obviously affect your thinking, or otherwise you wouldnt be asking for it. But if you like it, keep it, but I personally dont.
