Hi-beams

Hey everybody,
Took apart my steering column to fix my ignition and put it back together only to find later that my hi-beams aren't working. I pull back the lever to 'click' them on and the lever won't click at all. What did i do wrong with the reassembly? thanks for any info.

Mine didn't work before either. I took apart the steering column, rebuilt it and it worked. I forget exactly what I did, I'll take a look when I go out there today.

The dimmer switch is actually at the bottom of the column. It's a little white plastic can with a rod going into the top of it (rod comes from the lever and actuates the switch.) You may not have the rod seated correctly.
