If you want to plant the tires harder, you need to change the IC(Instant Center). This is effectively done by lowering the "rear"attaching point of the LCA's. There are a number of companies offering brackets to do this, but I don't have a catalog in front of me. But they lower them by about 3-inches.
The IC is the point where imaginary lines extended forward from the LCA's centerlines, crosses the centerline of the torque arm. As you lower the rear of the LCA's you make these lines cross farther rearward, which pushes harder up on the car and down on the tires instead of pushing in a more forward direction. Which will PLANT the tires!

they use all v6 stuff from the junkyard...
i was looking into doing it right with shocks and springs.

Well if you are looking for street and strip performance you have to make a compramise either way. In my set up I chose Eibach sport lines with Koni red adjustables. I guarantee that you will not have the best weight transfer, however when I set the struts at four for softness it gets some pretty good lift. I was running a 1.60 with a global west torque arm system, mac boxed control arms, global west pan hard, eight point bar, and a 3.73 through a six speed, on 10.5 ET streets. My car is totally a street car besides four or five passes a year on the track. With my new combination this year comming up I should pull 1.30 and still be able to pull rubber on my 255/50/16 street tires at 70 miles an hour. Just immagine what times you should run. then build your car accordingly.
