Help, Need info on my new 89 WS6 formula
Hello all, I just got a 1989 Firebird Formula. The interior has been completely stripped out so I am not sure if it is a true WS6 and if it has the 1LE option.
I havn't measured the brakes, but it does have a 5500rpm redline, 4 wheel disc brakes and whats left of the interior has a badge on the dash that says WS6 Performance Suspension, the wheels are 16" and have WS6 center caps.
What else can I do to confirm that it is truely a WS6 and if lucky a 1LE option car.
Is there anyway to get a new RPO sticker from Pontiac? Where can I go to find the production numbers for the WS6?
Thank everyone.

Nice. Good luck with yours, hopefully its nowhere near as bad as mine turned out to be, LOL
i've got drums in the back though :-/
I've been told that if you take your VIN to any GM dealership, they should be able to print out the list of option codes and crap
I've still gotta do that, so i dunno what they actually do.
But yeah, thirdgen.org is gonna be the best place to find out most of the stuff...
Post pics too!
