Yes but if you consider other factors like passing emmissions, ability to function optimally in 20 below to 100 above, you will see other intangibles. Like I said, set it up for the strip to run the best it can for one particular set of conditions and reset it when the conditions change and it will be the best but if you want to drive it year round, I suspect that it might be difficult for it to be the best especially when you have to pass emmissions, which many of us are having to do. I have set my FI car up once and never have to reset it again whether it is 20 below or 100 above.

Well down here in TX we use them thar car-bew-ray-turs. :tobacco spit:

1) Carbs can pass emissions..... sort of.
2) Cold starts are a little bit of a bitch with a carb. Oh well. Not as much of a bitch as a C4 and 4.10s.
3) It is hard to believe, but people used to drive cars with carbs every single day.
4) Buy a piece of **** to put miles on with the daily grind. A Dodge Dynasty seems to work fine, and with some simple "R/T" badges you have a fairly lethal FWD V6 street car.
