headers/ypipe/exhuast?

most of the headers ive seen are either emissions units or fit like crap. lookin for what you guys recomend for "off road" headers and y pipe. Also does anyone make a prefabbed straight pipe in place of the cat thatll be a direct bolt or weld into place between said headers and exhuast with minor trimming? Lastely anyone make a good 3" exhuast?

I use the same hedman shorty headers, mine rub against the chassis My cat was replaced by a muffler shop who shall remain anonymous Basically a piece of straight 3" pipe with flared ends to slide over the existing pipe, then I had another place install a cut out in that same spot, then I put the headers on n the Y pipe was taken off my other car so very short, so they just bent a piece of pipe from the Y pipe to the cut out n I was done. But to replace the cat with pipe, its just a piece of straight pipe with flared ends, chop n weld, chop n weld.

I have Hedman shorties, ceramic coated, and no clearance problems. I had a local exhaust shop build me a Y-pipe which extends all the way back through the stock cat location.

2 lines of text.....25 lines of sig. Nothing personal, but that's a bit excessive.

Good nice to see that you have some mods, but I think you left out a few nuts and bolts on your so called mods. Why just Post the parts list and bill of materials??? For your info mods in my opinion are MAJOR PARTS and not every misc. part on a engine or car.

A "modification" is, dy definition, something that has been changed or altered. And if I wanted to list every little thing I've done it would take more pages than you're willing to read. A good bit of fabrication has gone into my car and my truck both, not to mention all the miscellaneous parts that allow the major swaps to work. When I said "355 swap," did I mention little things like chrome valve covers? Or fuel pressure regulator? Cam button? Advance curve kit? No, because I only wanted to prove you wrong, not suck up the board's bandwidth allotment for the month. I could go on for days about timing curve setups, rerouted fuel systems, and other such things that can be called "mods." And since you're grasping at straws now, I'm going to let you be. Enjoy your car, and thanks again for dropping that mile-long sig.

i have a 3" custom y pipe and all the bends necessary with a 2 chamber flowmaster for sale. all you would need is a nice set of headers be it LT's or shorties. i had dynomax but sold them. i'm asking 350 for the custom Y and rest of the exhaust. i paid 750 for it new and it's in great shape. had to replace it for 4"

good luck.
