Yes, the Hooker 2055s are very nice. Hooker headers are just sweet, in general. All in all, you really can't go wrong with Hooker, SLP or Hedman.

Yes, exactly. If you can get rid of cats, get rid of AIR, as AIR just feeds the cats.

Personally, I would never get rid of the emissions stuff. You never know when it's going to be implemented in your state, and putting the stuff back on doesn't look to be enjoyable.

Thanks for all your input.I thinking of going with a catco converter so maybe I will get A.I.R. too. Will that hurt my power very much? Thanks again guys,You are all very help full. Also I want to go with the 3" exhaust.Does this mean I have to get headers and y-pipe with 3" collectors and go all the way 3 ".I never understood very much about that. For example does the muffler have three 3" holes in it,that seems like alot.

What?

Take a look under your hood. If you have AIR you'll have the small pipes off the exhaust manifold. I don't know why you wouldn't. Did you hack up your car?

You should have dual cats with AIR from the factory. Take a look under your car for the cats.

If you talk to guys like at Summit racing & many other highPerformance places they would tell you to stay away from SLP headers due to the fact of Quality Control issues. Thats why Summit Racing has basiclly stopped selling SLP headers.
Plus I have been reading that some other parts from SLP are not worth it.

That's true. I've heard of some issues with SLP stuff, but they are the only ones who offer 1-3/4" shorties. If Hooker had 1-3/4" shorties, many drop SLP. SLPs headers are way too expensive, but they are the only game in town for 1-3/4" shorties and emissions legal to boot.

As far as i know AIR doesnt do anything to hurt your power but with all the hoses and crap that it uses say goodbye to the passenger side of your engine because youll never see it again once the AIR is in
