Headers

Got some extra money lying around and looking for a decent, high-quality set of headers for my 350. Trying to be as cost efficient as physically possible---looking for good stuff, but nothing too expensive.

Good links would be welcome.

I like my Hooker 2055's for the price ($350), I'd get them coated though if I got them again, they just look so good. They're your best bet if you arnt going to do long tubes and you dont want to drop the coin on SLPs.

I picked up my coated Hedman shorties for $200 shipped with about 100 miles of use. Stuck them in and drove on open headers to the exhaust shop, where the best exhaust guy in town charged me $300 to build a Y-pipe and run 3" all the way back to a 3-chamber Flowmaster (which was included in the price.) $500 for a full exhaust seemed like a real good deal to me.

I was running a moderately built 355 through factory 305 manifolds and went to 1 5/8" headers with 3" exhaust. It helped a LOT.

And I didn't get a chance to hump the headers.....when I cranked her up I didn't last long enough to get under the car.
