which head gasket for vortec heads?

does any1 happen to know what head gasket to use w/ vortec heads? i cant seem to find a part number anywhere. sorry if this is a dumb question and im just blind.

You can use the stock head gaskets for your application. There is no special headgasket you need to use with Vortecs.

If you wanna pick up some compression like I had to, run the fpp-1094 that's only .015" compressed.

Felpro 1003 is reccomended for 450+hp...don't ask how I know. it's a steel piece, .041" compressed, 4.166" bore. A steel shim would be cool too...lol
