Post Harness Bar

Does anyone know of a harness bar for the 3rd Gen F-Body? I have found one from LG Motorsports for the 4th Gen, but they say it will not fit in the 3rd Gen. Any ideas?

Do you mean a "panhard" bar?

A harness bar is a cross bar that run behind the front seats that allow you to have an attachment for a 4 or 5-point racing HARNESS. So, instead of intalling a complete roll cage with a cross bar for the harness bar, you can do just the harness bar itself.

Go to this link and go about 1/2 way down the page and you will find LG Motorsports harness bar:

I haven't seen one either for a thirdgen car. If anything, i'd have a good metalcraft shop MAKE a custom piece. You could actually figure out how and where you want it exactly and in the end it would probably be 100% to your liking. Goodluck! And they could either weld it in or make a bolt on piece
