gutting the tpi air lid
you can cut the plastic baffles out from below the air filters to allow more airflow, remove some of the plastic material inside the plastic Y thingy, particularly just forward of the connection to the maf sensor. mine had a small ridge in there, i cut it out and filled the hole to make it a smooth transition into the 3" maf sensor.
to gut the maf you remove the screens and use a hack saw to cut the fins off.
i was worried about the lack of fins not allowing the unit to cool properly so i left one on there for the heck of it
