A good heads and cam package?

I've decided to rebuild the motor in my bird once again, the vortec heads aren't producing enough for my taste. What are some specific heads and cam packages that you guys would suggest for my 350? (maybe 383) In summit they have a package with trick flow 23 degree heads and matching cam, intake, etc. for 1,600 and it claims to make 445hp and 405 ft lbs. of torque. Can I squeeze more out of a package? Keep in mind the bottom end is good up to around 600-650,it is carbed, and it's got a T-56.

TFS makes a 215cc R head that would make a bit more power for sure and going with something larger from Dart or AFR can easily be done for a little extra cash(Dart's 215cc or 230cc head and AFR's 210 or 227cc head). Once you choose the head, then you can choose the camshaft. Consult with Comp Cams, Crower, Lunati, or whoever else via telephone and once they know your whole setup they can give you a cam to work with.

The local guys around here are making very worthwhile power with the Dart 230cc heads and especially with AFR's 227cc head.

What kind of intake manifold are you looking to use? Is it a street car or more of a race piece?

Primarily a street machine and I would like to run a smaller shot of n20. Manifold wise, probably edelbrock performer rpm air gap. Money isn't too big of a concern when it comes to heads, I just want a very decemt head and cam setup making around 400-450 hp and 420-480 lbs tq. Thanks for the info bro.

Stay the hell away from TFS unless you can get a set of heads bare and be prepared to do all the parts in them (valve guides, springs, etc) and make sure they are good quality parts. See what happened to me and the TFS heads here.
