Anyone running this on their thirdgen? I'm thinking I'd rather have that then borla. Price is pretty much the same.

Nice but spendy. Great sound clips. I installed the 3.5" Mufflex with Spintech muffler dual outlet system. Sounds great without being too obnoxious inside the car.

That is a dual cat one but I believe that a good search of SLPONLINE will yield a bunch of other fits. Price is $400 for this one.

Borla sounds sweet but if you want the retro sound your best bet is the GMMG or the SLP Exaust systems. IMHO GMMG's sounds great but I don't know if it's worth the coin or not.

Guess you haven't seen mine. It is NOT GMMG, however, I run a similar setup. The primary difference is mine is a true 2-1/2" dual exhaust feeding a pair of chambered mufflers. The GMMG system is a tail section only, the connects to a 3-inch over-the-axle pipe.

Click on "SC Z!!!" in my sig. Once at the home page, scroll down and click on Exhaust for numerous pics.

Willie I'm familiar with your setup as I've seen it over at thirdgen.org.

I have no idea what it would take to have a system like that fabbedup.

I want T304 SS, I want a 3" system, and I want it to bolt right up to my cat in the factory position. Thats all I really want. The big thing is T304 SS, and duel outlets on opposite sides. I'm not too worried about the sound, since my 350 is going to take care of that.

The thing I don't like about borla is that when you run it in street legal format all the exhaust is going out 1 pipe.

When it's opened up all the way, it still mostly comes out of one pipe, the one that you unblock.

Anyone ever tried to fit a Corsa fourth gen exhaust system on a third gen? Love the sound. http://www.corsaperformance.com/ I beleive. Check it out ladies and gents. A bit pricey, but purdy soundin'.

a 4th gen setup should bolt right up to the rear of the car and over the axle, it's just the i-pipe to cat(s) connection that is different.

I bolted a 4th gen Pacesetter 3" cat back on my 86. Took it right off of a 95 Trans Am and stuck it on mine, just needed the i-pipe to cat fitted and welded together,

How much did it cost to get the I pipe modified so it would bolt to the factory cat? I like the magnaflow system, but thats a 4th gen only system.
