or you just go true duel X pipe... and it is better than a single out... you can say all you want that it can't be done but when I do mine I will have pics to show that cutting the panhard bar and making a new mount works just fine.
You guys just made me think of my exhaust. It is one 4 inch chrome pipe out each side of the rear. I wonder if people think that is rice? The exhaust is a Walker DynoMax I but on the car in 1987. It is 3 inch back to the muffler and 4 inch out the back. Kind of big out the back but I got it to flow more air. I know it not fart pipes but it is big. I never though about it. I know my car doesn't sound rice with the LPE SuperRam, LPE 225/525 Cam, LPE ported and polished heads, headers and no cats. I only saw the exhaust that way in 1987 after that the pipes out the rear were either 2 inch or 3 inch. I have never seen another IROC with that system on it. The muffler is burnt out now so it is to loud. I have the SLP exhaust off my 96 WS6 Formula I may try and put that on. I will have to do some fab work on the y pipe and hopefully it will go over the axle. What do you guys think of the WS6 exhaust tips out the rear. Maybe I will polish the tips. If it will not fit maybe I will just put the muffler on and make the WS6 tips stick out the back. The reason the exhaust lasted so long is I have owned the car since new and it is never driven in the rain or snow.
Someone said they were going to put some glass packs on the end of there headers. I hope you have some ear plugs. If not a few years down the road you will be wearing a hearing aid. I am older and now my ears ring all the time and I am hard of hearing out of my right ear. To many rock concerts and running open headers or cut offs/exhaust. Just some friendly advice.

Exhaust shops will do anything for money!
He cut the intermidiate right where it curve into the factory muffler, and welded in a small straight piece and then added the fart can muffler.
It even stuck out past the bumper by at least 3-4 inches
