Has any one used the 330hp crate engine from Scoggin Dickey? What do you guys thing of it with a TPI intake or a Holley Stealth Ram intake? It makes 380 ft lbs of torque also. The lis price is about $2200. What all would I need to do to swap this one in.

 

I have the engine you are asking about. What you will need is the engine (of course ), Vortec TPI manifold $400.00, and the EGR router (160.00 I think), bigger injectors, and last but certainly not least...a chip burned for the engine (ed wright does the best work). I used to have the L98 and going from that to this is like night and day. If you go with this route, you will be pleased!!!!

ive never heard of that engine where are you buying it through?

 

It comes with Vortec heads so you cant use the Stealth Ram. You'll need either the Scoggin Dickey Vortec TPI intake or the TPIS Vortec MiniRam. The cam is also on the small side so it will work great with the stock computer, at the cost of a few horsepower.
