i have 3.70's in my 9 bolt gta. I know they are the only aftermarket ratio made. I don't know who makes them though.

Re: gears! 9 bolt

Yukon makes the 3.70 gears for 9 bolts. I found mine on ebay but I think you can buy direct from Yukon. If I get some time I try to dig up a website.

Edit - You should be able to order 3.70's from here: http://www.ringpinion.com/

Edit again - Look at the Yukon Gear Ring and Pinion Catalog and go to page 21.

You and me both. And the rear disk brakes are no winner either. So, I am either going to go a 98+ rear with the new brakes like my 98, or a 3rd gen rear with drums....

If you go with the 98+ rear with your stock GTA wheels, it will set out a bit. Not too bad but I didn't like it too much.

Re: gears! 9 bolt

alright well yes i seen that set. the 3.70's. but see i do need the 4.11's because of the new set up im going to be running. the 3.70s would be eh, ok i guess. but 4.10's-11's would be so much better for me.
and i wouldnt go to drum brakes at all. and i wouldnt mind the 4th rear end only because im planning on 4th gen rims as well! so it would work for two things!.
