Question Gas Tank / Fuel Line Dilema..........

I am putting my gas tank back into my car this weekend and was curious if there is a gasket that is used to seal the tank and fuel line assembly- the assembly which enters the tank and holds the fuel pump and fuel lines? ALSO, I removed the fuel vapor canister from my car, so do I just put a ventilator/breather on that line? Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

AFAIK, there should be a gasket that sits between the pump assembly and the tank. It is a round one that is about 4 inches or so.

To answer the question of the vent line, I plugged off mine for a while but now I let it vent. Not seen any changes either way.
