i have a 89 rs with 62,000 miles on it, stock 305 engine. it has sat in the garage for 6 months. last month i replaced the coil and the distributer cap new gaskets throughout( except the heads) anyways when i started it back up it filled my oilpan full of fuel and all over everything. i then replaced the fuel regulator thinking that was the problem , changed the oil and after all few minutes the same thing . fuel comes out of the pan and filter. during all this the good old 305 doesn't miss a beat. pours like a cat. any suggestions???? valve stuck?

 

could be some bad rings.
