dito, I though it was cool how they dynoed them but they didn't show the torque only the horsepower. I though those 3rd gen f-body engines pumped out a ton of torque I just wanted to see that since I' never seen the dyno numbers of a 3rd gen.

I would have taken either one of them IROC's. I don't remember which, but one ran MUCH better than the other.

Probably the best build-up so far. Better than average results from what I've seen.

I gather it was a rerun, but I'd never seen it yet, thought maybe some more hadn't either.
"Only" low 13's?
And I thought the old girls did real well for 17 years of duty and still pulling 207RWHP! bone stock!
And 322RWHP with just the SC + FP + MSD + exhaust = 13.29@105!
With inexperienced(to 3rd gen) drivers, trying to shift a Supercharged TPi TOOOO high in the rpm band!
I like how fast the white one pulled away in the last run, shifting automatically!
64% increase in power from basically the SC and Exhaust...
I wonder how the "Intercooled" version would've faired???
ANd how about the "Twin Turbo",454-SBC, '89 with it's 2,000+HP! and its 7 sec pass @ over 180mph?!!!
Oh yeah, on 10" slicks!!!!!!

Was he on slicks or ET Radials? I didn't even think to check. He's the Drag Radial King as of now. 7.66 in the 1/4 I thought it was a 427sbc though.

They definately did a good job running that quick in that little time. Guys around here run 14's after years of work. Kicking myself in the jewels on that comment also.

I've seen several videos of that car, and that Full Throttle clip. Watch it more carefully, and you'll see all 3 stages of boost hit at different parts down the track. Crazy stuff!

Too bad they didn't address the exhaust manifolds on the IROCs instead of messing around with that worthless MSD crap and needless radiator. 12s would have been a given with even junk headers.

yeah i agree, i dont know what they were thinking about the radiator, the stock one works great just need to have a manual fan switch to keep it cool and turn them off right before racing.

headers would of did wonders.

The person your talking about is Rick head. His camaro runs that fast on radials. Its kind of bad those kids got it. I figured the older gentlemen would enjoy the cars more. But yeah I was disappointed at those times too.
