fuel rails leaking
fuel rails leaking
i've been having trouble with the fuel return line, and to get it unclogged i had to dis-assembled the fuel rails. i bought the seal kit from auto zone, re-assembled, and put back in the engine. when ever it was under pressure, it would leak. i took them out, cleaned the fittings and bought a new seal kit. this time it leaked at soon as i put it in the car. i let it set over night and it seemed to stop leaking. this only lasted for a week and they're back to leaking. what do you guys suggest i do? car's been out or running rich all summer.

Re: fuel rails leaking
is there a pin hole in the rail or is it coming from a fitting?
when u say seal kit, that means o-rings and stuff right?
check around the FPR,i know theres a thin rubber gasket around it as well
im not sure man, hope that helps

Re: fuel rails leaking
there is no pin hole, it's coming from the fitting. i didn't use any lube on the o-rings. and yes, when i say seal kit i mean the o-rings. this is really getting frustrating, we finally find the problem (clogged return line), but putting it back together poses all the problems. Thanks for any help.
