Flowtech Headers

I was wandering, I ordered a set of long tube flowtech headers, and header mufflers, well come to find out when they got here, they ended up being short tube. Will stock y-pipe fit up to those, and if so would you suggest just taking the cat out, and putting a headers muffler onto the y-pipe.

The Y-Pipe will need to be modified to fit. They dont fit in directly,Flowtech offers Y-Pipes seperate from the headers.I suggest buying it.

Re: Flowtech Headers

I have FlowTech headers for my other engine.I ordered the Flowtech Y-pipe to go with it,saves alot of problems i'd go for it too.Personally i'll still be running my cat in the system,i'm just looking for a high flow one now.

Re: Flowtech Headers

I gave up on my Flowtech headers, and went with the Summit Full Dual Exhaust System. With the Thrush Super Turbo Mufflers. They will be here on the 29th. So I will get to finally have a loud car. Woot.

Matt-i was thinking on gutting the cat i have now.Our emmisions laws are for cars under 20 years old.I just have to have one on the car becuase it came that way.Just reading between the lines here.

Winkle-thrush mufflers are awesome,we had some on my dad's trans am before...they sounded wicked. Not to popular with the local's that werent into cars
