Fixing my tilt steering column: what tools are needed?

My high beams don't work anymore because the steering wheel is sagging so far down. Its just dangerous now. I already got a steering wheel puller but then I got to the part where you need a spring compressor of some sort and I'm stuck. Where can I get one and what does it cost? Thanks guys!

you need a steering column lock plate compressor

after that, it is screws, and few torx bolts(will need torx bit), then, to get to all four bolts that are loose, you need a pivot pin puller

You need a lot of patience!!! Me and my gf's dad pulled it apart and got almost all the way to the end when we gave up because it was such a pain. This was after about 3 hrs of work. His friend a mechanic came over and did the job in like 30 min. So if you can have someone who has done it before do it.

Took me 45 minutes to get to the torx bolts. Not too bad I suppose. To get the pivot pins I made my own puller. I just got a bolt that fit, used a 5/8" socket (large enough for the pin to fit inside it), and just started tightening the bolt with it placed straight through the back of the socket. Worked great and no problems with snapped screws and drilling stuff out. I can't wait... new steering wheel, repaired turn signal switch, and a tight column.

I cannot remove that part no matter how hard I try. Its the very last piece holding it all together!!!

I got it now, I thought it meant tilt the column, not the lever. That was so much work but I had no horn and my steering wheel fell in my lap, both were not safe. Thanks alot! Luckily no bearings fell out. I did manage to butcher my tilt lever though.
