Fans again

Ok fellas. My fan relay went out again. This time i thought it was bad but I put the new one in and she still didnt work. The relay is getting power but the fans arent going on. What else could it be? My thermostat? All my fuses are fine too. My temp gauge works too and my temp sensor is plugged in. Im stumped. I got the fans rigged to a switch now but my gf drives my car and shes clueless to anything like that and i dont want her getting stuck cuz my car overheats. Thanks fellas.

If the relay is getting power (what I mean is power at temp) and the fan does not kick in that means power is not going to the fan, look for a short (broken circut). If the relay does not get power at temp it means a short or bad sensor. Double check to make sure the sensor is grounded (no tape,no sealer) then look for a short (broken circut). Try to think of the power as water and you are looking at the pipes and valves looking for leaks and dead ends, you want the water to flow.

No my fans get the power just fine they arent turning on. I crossed the two points on the plug and the fans turn on so i know ther problem is before the relay. Watever sends the message to the relay to tell the fans to turn on isnt working.

It might help if you think of it as TWO circuts, the sensor part and the fan part, with the relay talking to both.
