I use Autolite but I am going to try the NGK UR4 plugs. going to put them in this weekend when I do my headers.
Advance Auto sells them for $1.69 each.

The Old saying ,"You get what you pay for", rings especially true for ignition parts. The AC's are stock plugs, good for "stock" cars, once modded you should look for a better plug.
I like Autolites too, but I run Accel's in my IROC and the work great. I've also run Bosch "Super's" and "Platnum's" with good results.

so since my car is 100% stock aside from flowmaster catback and k&n filter, i should just stick with what the stock setting call for?

The stock plugs will work fine for a stock vehicle, although a better plug will last longer. I'd change the A/C's every year to maintain peak performance.

Re: factory plugs or different brand?

i had no difference in power output on the dyno between champion and ngk's that were similar. however the ngk plugs lasted significantly longer through testing then champions did but in all honesty they were so much more i can't say it was worth it. it's all preference and what works for you, if you know someone to have luck with something go ahead and try it... why not.

now when it comes to wires that's a different story.

Yea, I run Accel wires, but stick with AC Delco plugs in all my cars. Never had a problem with them.
