F41 RS's got THE biggest sway bars right?

Does my F41 Equipped RS have the biggest swaybars offered on a 3rd gen? Same size as IROC/GTA?

AYE rip,
Not sure on that but the rear sway bar on my Z is 28 mm. I think!. But it looks to be the same size as the one on my RS.

I'm just trying to see whether I should swap either sway bars from the GTA onto the RS. I'm pretty sure they're the same though, just double checking.

My RS came with a hollow 34mm bar in front and solid 21mm in the rear. These were big, but not the biggest that were available. To my knowledge the biggest GM bars were hollow 36mm and a solid 24mm.

I'm now running Spohn's solid 34mm and solid 25mm bars.

The 36hollow/24solid are the biggest 3rd gen bars, but only 1LE cars got them IIRC. The GTA bars will be the same as the RS F41 bars.

IROC's didn't get the 36/24 setup? I went to the Spohn 34/24 Solid combo and The front 34 was definately smaller than my stock front sway bar so I'm guessing that was 36mm and hollow also.

Not to jack this thread, but what are the benefits of a hallow front sway bar other than weight savings? Does it perform the same as a solid one? Just wondering.

No jackification here....I already got my answer

I think hollors flex a little more. Although do weigh less. I'd get a solid though, there isn't a substantial weight difference.

AutoRoc....you may be right. I'm not certain about the swaybar optioning, I'm only repeating what I've read in this case.

Corey: get a cheap dial caliper and measure them. Then you'll KNOW if they're different.

Denny, I was 99.9% certain the 89's had the 34mm fronts. Thats why I asked you why you "upgraded" to a spohn of the same size.... Or somthing. I dunno... anyway. 34mm is the biggest on non 1LE's I believe.
