engine vac pressure question

engine vac pressure question

alright the issue i am having now is i have so much vacume pressure that my pcv valve just dose not work..... if with have no throtle responce but if i pull it out of the valve cover it runs great and you can hear the engine sound free of stress again.

i put a filter on inplace of pcv valve but now every time i turn the heat on i get fumes inside the car from the blow by coming out of the filter.....its anoying and i am getting head aches from it.... is there another pcv valve i can try? other than whats called for my car? 87 iroc z built 355 carb'd? any input would be good thank you!

What is your intake manifold vacuum reading at idle?

Are you sure you inserted the PCV valve in the correct direction?
