Ok to start with this is an 87 LT(my little daily driver)with a stock old school 70's 350. I know im buying a Comp Cams Nostalgia series cam for it (276/283, .468/.462) but was also thinking about a better set of heads. How much of an improvement would i see with this cam if i used a set of the Vortec heads and intake? Im also using a 670 Street Avenger. Ive never had any experiences with these heads so i was just hoping for a litte feedback. Thanks.

 

You would see pretty serious gains with thoes heads and a cam over a 70s 350. Most of those motors put out 185 on a good day.

Im not sure about that cam though. Im guessing thats advertised duration, whats the duration @.050?
