I'm a new driver and I'm just learning the basics, exactly what are headers, cams, and the other basics??

 

exhaust headers attach to cylinder heads to direct exhaust gasses out of the engine

a cam shaft is a shaft with lobes, that controls when the intake valves and exhaust valves open and close
essentially it is the brain of the car

Just go to summitracing.com and get their free catalog. Look through the whole thing and you'll see every part of an engine. It'll all come together in a week or so.
