Engine Code and header question!

What engine code is the L03, E, H, or F? Looking into randoms high-flow cats my friend recomended and wanted to figure out price. And another question, will these Hooker Header LT (scroll down 2/3ths the way) the first set, will they work with my L03? Becaust they look awsome with the addition of the Y-pipe and being 50 state emissions legal. Getting my tax return and i might get thease headers and a flowmaster exhaust dunno yet, but ty guys.

LT without air tubes aren't 50 state legal.
I have them on my car. I also have true duals as you need a custom y-pipe to use them.

Yes the 2055 are legal in all states. You originally posted "Hooker Header LT". LT standing for Long Tubes, 2210, which ARE NOT legal. They should work fine for your TBI, and make a significant improvement in both power and sound.

Sorry i said scroll down 2/3 and its the first set, sorry should have been more specific. Awsome man thanx, and I take it they are not ceramic coated so ima have to wrap it with thermal wrap to stop alot of heat build up on the headers. Thanx you all are helpen alot!

One thing to watch out for: make sure you paint those headers with a good thick coat of header paint before you wrap them.....otherwise your headers will rust out due to the moisture that the wrap will trap.

Seriously, header wrap is so........ old tech. I used to do it a billion years ago (the 80s- gasp!!). Spend the $125 and get em' coated. No rust, much reduced underhood temps (probably almost as good as header wrap) and the headers will last forever and look good for years.

I agree. Header wrap is old school. Send them to Jet-Hot. Well worth it. BTW, I passed emissions when I had my LO3 with no smog, or A.I.R. tubes , no cat either. I live in Maryland and the laws aren't strict, they're about average.
