Edelbrock Exhaust

I know that Edelbrock is a pretty reputable company, I was just curious on how their catback exhausts might be....quality, sound and gains...if any. Ive looked into Flowmaster and Dynomax and Magnaflow.......I just like the way the Brocks look............Thanks again.

Re: Edelbrock Exhaust

I put on the Edelbrock catback from summit about 4 months ago and let me tell you it is OUTSTANDING!!!

It gives my LT1 a real muscle car sound when i get on it and and a nice rumble when sitting at idle.

I put on a pair of Borla dual Stainless tips at 100 bucks each and it really sets off the rear end of my Trans Am.

It is definitely a nice change from the Flowmaster tone every one and their brother has.

Don't get me wrong I like flowmaster and it has definitely had its place in my cars of the past but when I got the Edelbrock welded up and started the car that was it. I was hooked.

When you are cruising and step on the gas with a healthy foot you get a sound that will turn heads and make you say, YEAH!

Also I redid my sound system and put a full battery of sound deadner down. At cruising speed I get no drone inside but you can hear it behind you outside the rear......where the sound should be.

Re: Edelbrock Exhaust

I've had an Edelbrock cat back on my 1988 GTA for 6 years. Well pleased with sound at idle, cruise and full throttle.

Re: Edelbrock Exhaust

I'll vouch for it. I have had my cat back on for 11 years and only now has it got a small hole in the box. Thats excellent for the cold, damp weather we get here. With the headers and Y pipe it sounds great.

Re: Edelbrock Exhaust

I like mine. Like others have said nice rumble at idle but stick your foot in it and it really screams. It is also made of s.s and comes with a lifetime warranty.
