ECU with LG4????

ECU with LG4????

most of u know that im puttin an LG4 in my L03 car.......

someone informed me that i would have to go with a holley or some other carb OR have to get the LG4 ECU because my LG4 has a computer controlled carb......is this true????

If you're going to get a new carb anyway, I'd definitely opt for a traditional, mechanical style one which, IMO, will suit you much better. A nice Holley, Edelbrock or something. If you want to stay with the stock Q-Jet, I think you will need the computer. Stock Q-jet's are CC (computer-controlled), hence needing a computer. Good luck

ok, im talkin to this guy about how i might buy his holley.....its a holley 750 , hes not sure what exact modle......i plan on camming the lg4 later on so would the 750 be good for my aplication?

600cfm will be more than enough for a 305. 750cfm is a bit much.

well not only a cam, but maybe port and polished heads, intake (prolly RPM or torquer) and basic things like that........would the 750 still be too much? what would happen if i run a carb thats too big?

my 600cfm was good into the 12s on the car it was on before mine, so that can give you an idea.
