ECM fuse keeps blowing???

ECM fuse keeps blowing???
I have an 84 Z28 with the LG4. Any suggestions on why my ECM fuse keeping blowing? Better yet what are the procedures for getting rid of the ECM all together. I recently got rid of the AC components off of the car but i don't think that is causing the fuse to blow.
