ECM blown? Big help needed fast...

ECM blown? Big help needed fast...
Here's what happened...
Tried to hook up the ALDL cable.
Realized needed to put the power supply in.
Ran wire from battery.
Forgot to put transistor in line
hooked up to computer.
No alternator charging?
What did we do?
Blow the ECM?
Blow an inline fuse?
Overcharge the system?
