easily accessible exterior transmission filter?
i was checking out some rice performance pages and i noticed that theres a kit for them to put a filter, looks like an oil filter right on their transmission lines. now i said to myself i want that.
is there any way, or has anoyne rigged up, a fuel filter type tranny filter that would bolt right in those lines under the hood. i would much rather be able to park the car and switch a little filter every 6 months than drop the pan and scrape out that in tranny filter, oh id still have that one in there. but it makes sence doesnt it?
the description of the part called it a remote filter and said it fits all automatics

It is nicer to put a drain valve in the pan to drain the fluid then remove the pan. This is so you can judge how much stuff is coming out of the tranny. Too much stuff in the pan or metal chips and you can start the rebuild process.
