Do you think its worth it?

I found a 84 Iroc with t-tops and a 5 speed. It doesn't have a motor, which isn't a problem for me.My dad has looked at it, but I won't see it til next week.He says the bodies straight with good paint. The guy wants 500.Is it worth it and did this year have a computer to control fuel, because I intend on a carb setup
Thanks in advance

i would say its worth it...i don't think they had computer controlled in 84, but if they did, you can convert it over to a carb.

If it's an '84 IROC-Z, it's worth a ton because it's the only one ever made. There is no such car; 1985 was the first year.

The guy says its definitely an IROC, but he says he is not sure if its an 84 or 85, so Im assuming its an 85 since yall informed me it didn't exist in 84
