Differences between LT1 and tuned port throttle bodies?

I just picked up a TPI from an '86 IROC that I will eventually be swapping onto my truck's 350. The throttle body on it doesn't seem to be in the best condition. I have some LT1 parts laying around and happen to have both a 48 and 52mm throttle body for an LT1 and was wondering if there are any real differences in them? Looking around at parts sites, a lot of them list different part numbers for the separate throttle bodies, but I've also heard they're interchangeable. Just curious.

The throttle cable is different, but it will bolt up.

The sensors are different as well, not sure if the TPI sensors will bolt to an LT1 TB.
Try it and let us know if they work.
I've got a bunch of LT1 throttle bodies, if it works for you, I may have one made to 52mm and slap it on my TPI car.

Cool. I figured it'd be something pretty basic if anything. Sounds good. Thanks, guys.

Don't wait around for me to try it, though. It'll be a while. I just got the TPI and there are a ton of other things I need to buy to build the motor before I even get started and I have no cash. I just had to jump on the TPI because it was a deal I couldn't resist.
