Ok i went to a Ramchargers warehouse sale and ended up buying a BeCool Radiator. Reasons being that my car always runs hot in the summer and I even changed my thermostat and got the same results. So i figured i would go with a Becool because it is a well known product with great reviews and I figure its gotta help out my car. Plus its a direct bolt in so its very easy to replace. Well for some reason I didnt talk the guy down in price...maybe i was just in shock that day, but he said the best he could get it to me was $595.00 out the door. I went on Becool's website and they dont have prices on it, so im wondering if i even got a deal or did i get bent over by a commission hungry sales person? Also what pissed me off is that you spend all that money and you have to buy the cap seperate!! how dumb is that....if anyone can get some prices, i would appreciate it. thanx

 

$639 from Summit....not a great deal by any stretch, but still not bad

 

damn.... 600 bones... i hear you can by the standard size and get it to fit w/ little problems for 300.

 

$550-600 is the norm. the caps are $25-40 as well.

you definately pay for the name no doubt but they work. i hated mine as it was expensive, even though it said direct fit it wasn't at all and near impossible to find the fittings i needed but once the b.s was over and it was working i loved it.

should have posted earlier if you were looking in the MI forum though i have one with cap brand new in box for $500 i would have let go...o'well don't sweat it, you'll love it.

 

We went with a Griffin Universal fit radiator, $200 from Jegs. All we had to do was trim a little bit of the radiator shroud.
