Demon Carb + Kickdown cable. Geometry Help needed.

As far as using a kickdown cable for a 700R4, what is the correct way to do it? B&M makes a bracket that you're supposed to use and I have it, just not sure if I'll use it yet, I think other shifter companies make one also but which is best? Are people getting away with using the normal Holley/Demon throttle bracket? I've talked to Dana at Pro Built about it a while back and he explained the proper throttle geometry numbers and spacing and this points to that etc but obviously I need new information. Thanks!
