dash lights

i was just wondering if anyone has changed the color of their dash lights?
i have the regular boaring white/yellow color lights for the cluster and a/c.
but i want to change them to red like the pontiac guages. i know our guages
have tiny bulbs but are there colored ones out there? and i know that
many people are going to suggest the whit face guages, but i dont like them ...too importish. if you have any thoughts please give me a shout.

Same... I have the firebird dash, and I don't like the orange/black... would like to convert to red/black if possible.

I'm gonna say for the Camaros (Don't know if its the same on the birds) that when u pull the cluster apart, all the little bulbs that can be changed, can be done that way to diff colored bubs of the same size (Obviously). I thought about this before while replacing my speedo cable. However, the little colored bulbs aren't really cheap for a package of 2 and I think the whole cluster uses at least 13?
Also, if u can find colored bulbs, I thought about buying the replacement clear ones, and buying transparent orange/blue/red, whatever modeller paint (the paint they use to paint the turn and tail lights) and dip each bulb in the paint and hang em to dry, then just pop 'em in.

I just replaced my bulbs with red LED's (two LED's per socket with a resitor) worked good but I'm working on a better solution. Still in process but bonding LED directly onto the edges of the gauges, since the light is spead over the gauges by the optical properties of plastic, and not by filling the gauge area with light. Should be simple once I figure out the best places to place each LED.

I used this info for the putting LED in buld sockets

did you use the single led 194's or did
you use the 4 led lights? i was thinking
of buying the 4 leds to make sure they
were bright enough cause im looking
to do red as well.
