That sounds like your TPS (throttle position sensor). It is the sensor on your throttle body that tells the computer what position the blade is in. You can unplug the sensor and if the symptoms go away, that is your problem. The car can be driven without the TPS but it will idle really high and drive like crap, but it will run. Good luck.

Same guy different post. Sneaky. Hey are you getting a check engine light? If you are you can use a paperclip to read the code. Anyone can tell ya how to do it. I'll put a link so you can see how: http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/tp...tml#post989604

Well it flashes code 12 three times, then gives you a trouble code after that. Now if it flashes code 12 another three then you dont have a trouble code. Just in case you didn't get that far. Good luck. I hate hearing new purchases having problems. Dont hesitate to call and ask the guy you bought it from to see what he thinks it might. be.

Correct. And it also flashes 12 in between codes if you have more than one code in the computer.

Punctuation? These posts are making my head hurt.

If its not throwing any codes you really need to get a scan tool on it to see why the injectors are dumping fuel. Otherwise, you're just guessing.

Like I said in your other post you need to get your hands on a scanner. A bad cts will most likely not throw a code I am not to sure about the TPS.

well i chnaged the cts, map sensor, and the 02 senser we found out that the coil was bad and the plugs were firing off to the side so i got the coil changed and i am working on getting the plugs change which is a big *** bitch and the headers r getting in the way lol but 2 of me and my dads racing friends said that that could be the problam seeing how the spark isn't strong so it is probably only burning a % of the fuel while the rest will run out the exhaust so that is were i am at and since there is no check engine light autozone told me that a scaner would not read anythang. well wish me luck and if thats the problem then i will let u guys know thx for the info.

Autozone must have a code reader not a scanner. I have a auto xray scanner that shows what the ecm is seeing in real time and it also tells you trouble codes. You may have found the problem with the plugs and coil. I suggest in investing in a scanner it will help you in the long run so when something happens you wont have to keeps throwing parts at it.
