Has anyone tried this crate tpi vortec'ed engine from Scoggin Dickey? They claim 360 hp and 416 tq with Edlebrock runners, 52mm tb, and 1 7/8 headers. Are these numbers believable? Can I expect a little more with a port matched plenum/SLP runner set up?

 

Don't even expect to come close to the quoted numbers. They were made under ideal conditions on a test stand and NOT installed in a car.

 

They are gross #'s, and as said above, that is with headers, and electric water pump, larger runner, t/b, ideal air conditions etc. I too am interested in this motor, and was wondering what the real #'s are. Anybody know?

 

I basically have the same set up except it is in the car and minus the 52mm tb. I think I can make up for that with the port match plenum/runner set up. Do think at least 300rwhp is possible?
